5 Easy Steps to Become a UIP Intern

Step 1

Consult the online UIP Internship Listing which describes over 300 internship sites in the Charlottesville area. You can browse through an alphabetical listing of all sponsoring organizations in the Charlottesville area or search for specific internships by keyword or organization name.

Step 2

Attend a UIP Information Session in February 2017
Check the Master Schedule for details.

Step 3

Decide which UIP option is best for you. See the UIP Program Options for a detailed list of all the available options. Note: You can choose to do a Summer Internship and an Academic-Year Internship.

Step 4

Complete the online UIP Intern Application.

Step 5

Schedule a matching interview in early 2017. You will select an interview slot when you complete and submit the online application. Your interview will be held at the UIP Offices, Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service, 2400 Old Ivy Road.
